Regulation (EC) No 842/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 May 2006 on certain fluorinated greenhouse gases

Article 11

Without prejudice to relevant Community law, in particular Community rules on State aid and Directive 98/34/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 June 1998 laying down a procedure for the provision of information in the field of technical standards and regulations and of rules on Information Society services (2 ), Member States may encourage the marketing of products and equipment which use alternatives to gases with a high global warming potential, and which are effective and innovative and further reduce climate impact.
